Go have a juice

A visiting professor from Brazil taught our college database class. He brought a laid back style to his lectures that made a dense subject enjoyable.

My college roommate and I were both in the same class. We both came from high achieving schools and parents. We studied pretty hard for the midterm and had a set of questions that we took to office hours just before the midterm.

This professor listened to our questions, answered them patiently. Eventually, he just said, "Relax, go have a juice."

We packed up. We had less than an hour left. We got juice.
